Over the past few weeks, our boarding house has grown as we have welcomed many new awesome students and new staff from all corners of the world to our already phenomenal group of returning students and staff. Despite our learning taking place online, as a way of getting to know each other, the boarding house has hosted various fun activities throughout the weeks. Take a look:
Thursday Thought Night is a student-led discussion held in the boarding house lounge. Each week our students come up with a theme about an on-going issue in the world. It’s a platform that welcomes varying opinions, thought-provoking discussions and great company. Last week’s theme was sustainability.
‘’The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it’’– Robert Swan
I’m sure we have all heard the saying- nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something’’- our students and staff have done a great job with a community clean-up close to campus.
Living in a place like Phuket, we are met by beautiful trails and views- what better way to appreciate the beauty we are surrounded by than a morning bike ride after our students pass the bike test- safety first!
Speaking of views, I think we can all agree that Promthep Cape is one of the best in Phuket.
A hike in the National Park just minutes away from campus.
Last but not least, ‘get to know you games’ run by our Rescomm team before sitting down to a lovely dinner, I mean who doesn’t love pizza?
