Andrew has enjoyed working in school and residential settings in Australia, the US, Germany, and most recently as a houseparent in Kigali, Rwanda. Teaching mathematics and physics in IB world schools over the past 4 years, as well as an IB assessor in mathematics, he has an extensive knowledge of the IB program. Andrew possesses a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma in Education from Latrobe University.
He is joined by his wife and fellow teacher, Leith Pierce and their two children Annan and Suther. Andrew enjoys being involved in most team sports, having played competitively and socially, rugby, basketball, football (all kinds) and badminton. He also values the individual pursuits of golf, yoga and hiking.
