MANTA RAYDIO

Manta Raydio is a community broadcast that seeks to celebrate and share the diversity within our community through the exploration of language, culture and music. The themes of each week connect to the UWCT Mindfulness themes and explore these themes from a cross-cultural perspective.  Browse the episodes below for your listening pleasure based on our weekly themes and discover the diversity of our community.

Ep. 20 Balance

Can you believe we have done 20 of these already?! This week on Manta Raydio is about balance, and sustainability specifically. We present 5 songs from Brazil, Sweden, Lebanon, Ghana, and Aotearoa (New Zealand)!

Ep. 19 Resiliance

Stressed out? Feel like giving up? We all feel that way sometimes! This week on Manta Raydio, we give you a short but strong episode on Resiliency: being flexible and elastic enough to be able to bounce back from all the hardships and pressures in life. Ep. 18 Optimism

The theme of this week is Mental Health and Wellbeing Week with ‘Kindness’ as our theme. We explore how we treat ourselves, whether we extend the same kindness to ourselves as we do others, and also how we can be compassionate to others.
