UWC Thailand International School is accredited by a number of leading educational organisations the world over. These include CIS, the IB and EARCOS. In order to maintain its accreditation, UWCT regularly partakes in evaluation visits. The school is honoured to be certified by the following  educational organisations:

United World College (UWC)

UWC first came to life in postwar 1962 at the hands of educational pioneer, Round Square, and Outward Bound founder Kurt Hahn. Today, UWC has 17 international schools and colleges on five continents. The majority of UWC’s focus exclusively on the 16-19 year-old age group, when young people’s energy and idealism can be guided towards empathy, responsibility and lifelong action.

East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS)

The East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS) is an organisation of 165 member schools in East Asia. EARCOS inspires adult and student learning through its leadership and service. It fosters intercultural understanding, global citizenship, and exceptional educational practices within its learning community.

International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO)

UWC Thailand is authorised by the International Baccalaureate Organisation. As an IB School, we offer the Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes. IB learners strive to become inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, openminded, caring, risk-takers, balanced and reflective.

UWC Thailand introduced the Arrowsmith Program in 2015, and is the only international school in Thailand to offer it. The programme is suitable for students aged 9-18. Arrowsmith is based on the application of neuroscientific research to help students strengthen weak cognitive capacities underlying a range of learning difficulties.

Council of International Schools (CIS)

UWC Thailand is a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS). CIS is a community committed to high quality education that aims to connect ideas, cultures, and educators from every corner of the world. CIS currently includes 1,300 institutions: representing 116 countries.

World Academy of Sport

As a school affiliated with the World Academy of Sport, UWC Thailand International School offers students who excel in swimming and triathlon a modified academic programme. This allows students to realise both their educational and sporting dreams by completing the IB Diploma Programme over three years instead of two years.
